"Nine Creeks" is one of Hangzhou's tourist attractions. More than nine streams and brooks meet and flow through natural reservoirs into the Qiantang River. In my personal opinion, the place isn't bad, but it's easy to find even more beautiful spots than this.
The lush, vibrant vegetation and gently flowing waters provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. It’s no surprise that, when the weather is nice, wedding couples arrive one after another and wait patiently at their favorite spots to ensure they get the most perfect photos. (In China, wedding photography usually takes place before the wedding day, not on the day itself.)
In addition to wedding photos, fantasy and fashion shoots are, of course, a must here as well. Each location is practically transformed into a studio. A team of several people assists with changing clothes, applying makeup, adjusting outfits, and creating the right lighting conditions. In most cases, the photos are taken for personal use.
As I’ve written many times before, you can’t enjoy the silence of nature on weekends or holidays; in China, hiking and exploring nature aren’t quiet activities.
If we’ve seen enough weddings, streams, and ponds and still have the energy, it’s worth taking a walk to the Longjing tea fields to admire the well-tended plantations, or we can also visit the nearby Liuhe (Six Harmonies) Pagoda.
